Kent Leslie

Kent Leslie is a graduate student in the CalTech Biology PhD program. Originally from Toronto, Canada, Kent earned a BS and MS in Biology from Brown University. After completing his Masters, Kent joined Amylyx Pharmaceuticals where he conducted preclinical research on mechanisms of neuronal cell death and clinical work in ALS and Alzheimer's disease. Kent's research is focused on understanding the regulation of autophagy in response to diverse cell stress signals. Outside of the lab, Kent enjoys spending time with his fiancée and dog, playing hockey and cooking!
